It’s been a while since I’ve been here! I think like many people I turned all my attentions to family, my motivation to communicate with the outside world got less and less. Then the household became so constantly full that I didn’t feel I had the space to communicate with anything or anyone beyond the home. I took the time to photograph my family, explore and experiment with the summer light we were so fortunate to have. I began a project with my daughter and her baby who was born at the start of lockdown. Now with school back and routine here once again I feel absolutely ready to communicate and so ready and excited to start photographing beyond the home again!

The first photos I am sharing is from this time last year. We had rescheduled a couple of times due to the weather mostly and we were rewarded with a beautiful, warm Autumn day! I had a wonderful time with Tom, Laura, Alexis and Martha the dog! I was made to feel so welcome as soon as I arrived which helps to make for a lovely relaxed photo session. Alexis was a joy to be around, capturing time between him and Martha was extra sweet! It ended up being a bit of a ‘day in the life’ session as the day progressed and the natural occurrences for food and the such like happened. We spent some time inside, in the garden, having lunch, going for a walk then a last little bit at home. This is my favourite kind of session, so relaxed and all about the love while doing the everyday stuff. I feel lucky to have spent time with such a delightful family! If you would like to chat about a session like this please contact me here. Some favourite photos from the day…
